The 2009 Budweiser 6v6 International Cup final is to be held on May 25 th, 2009 at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester, U.K. Teams from Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Bahrain, Belgium, Chile, Dubai, United Kingdom, India, Ireland, Malta, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden and Vietnam will emerge from the Players tunnel to take the pitch and challenge for the 2009 Budweiser 6v6 International Cup 2009 title.
Launched in 2008 in India, local amateur teams of eight players can compete for the right to represent India in Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune during the regional rounds to be held in March. Top two teams from each state will further compete in Hyderabad to fight it out to win the right to represent the country to this tournament which is pegged as the World Cup for amateur footballers.
